Born February 28, 1962 in Painesville, she was raised in Highland Heights and has lived in Willoughby for the past 33 years.

Nancy was an active member of Willoughby United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed playing with the bell choir and contributing to mission trips. She was also a member of the Willoughby Young Women’s Association, and was active in a book club, and enjoyed staying in contact with her sorority sisters.

Her hobbies included swimming, baking, cake decorating, sewing and she also had a keen eye for photography. She was very creative at designing cards and posters for various events for family and friends.

Nancy graduated from Bowling Green State University, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in public relations and marketing.

She worked for Taprell Loomis in Cleveland and at BJ’s Wholesale Club in Willoughby, and, on occasion, at the West End YMCA in Willoughby. During tax season, she also helped with scheduling at the H & R Block

office in Lyndhurst. She had an impeccable work ethic and loyalty.

She was always positive and held only kindness, love, gratitude and generosity for everyone she knew, greeting everyone with her beautiful smile. She was a very dignified and private person, never burdening anyone with her worries; she managed things her way.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 33 years, Brian and children, Laura and Colin and sister, Patty (Paul) Reiman; she also leaves her brothers-in-law, Mark (Dottie) (nee: Hull) Zenobi and Doug (Amy) (nee: Sevin) Zenobi and her nieces and nephews, Tim Reiman, Greg Reiman and Kevin Reiman, Jayson (Leah) (nee: Thompson) Zenobi, Hillary (nee: Zenobi) Didona, Anthony Didona, Megan (nee: Zenobi) Broughton, Colin Broughton and Kyle Zenobi; great nieces and nephews, Cecilia Didona, Gabriel Didona, Carson Broughton, Callie Broughton, Enzo Zenobi and Olivia Zenobi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Gerhard A. and Margaret (Nee: Hofsess) Hauser; infant brother, David John Hauser; niece, Natalie Faith; grandparents, Adolph and Maria (nee: Seegis) Hauser and Clay and Beulah (Nee: Fitzgerald) Hofsess; father-in-law, Edward Zenobi, mother-in-law, Patricia (Zenobi) Smith and father-in-law, James Smith.

Nancy loved her family to the moon and back. She documented events with her photography and had a knack for gathering all for a group shot with her sweet voice and conductor like hand gestures.

Her heart was open to everyone, and children were near and dear to her heart. Her final gift was donating her corneas to LifeBanc. Her memory will live on in all she touched. We will miss her dearly. God has called her home.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Willoughby United Methodist Church, 15 Public Square, Willoughby, OH 44094 or the American Cancer Society, 10501 Euclid Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44106.
