Noile M. Sherman

Services for Noile M. (Agin) Sherman, 79, of Mentor, will be at 10 AM on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Mentor United Methodist Church, 8600 Mentor Avenue, Mentor. Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery following the service. Rev. Beverly L. Wrobel will officiate at the service.

Noile passed away Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at Hospice House in Cleveland, surrounded by loved ones.

Born August 24, 1934 in North Canton, she has lived in Mentor for the past 47 years.

She was a member of Mentor United Methodist Church, Cardinal Mothers, Grottoettes and was a volunteer at Lake West Medical Center. She enjoyed bowling, bocce and spending time at Mentor Lagoons with her family and friends.

Survivors are her husband of 61 years, Benjamin Sherman, Sr.; children, Tanya (Ray) Bencar, Benjamin (Debbie) Sherman, Jr., Scott (Ellen) Sherman, Melissa Sherman and Lynn Keller; grandchildren, Joseph (Gretchen); Jessica, Michael, Haily, Zachary, Kelsey, Brandon, Tyler, Cameron, Zane and Eva. She also leaves her brother-in-law, Gene (Geri) Mattingly; nephew, Gene (Lori) Mattingly, Jr. and niece, Jennifer (Dan) Lenhart; lifelong best friend, Marlene Miller and many other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Gilbert (Alice) Agin and mother, Mabel; sister, Shirley Mattingly and many other loved ones.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Friday, November 15, 2013 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, Inc., 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44110-2602 or a favorite charity.
