Memorial services for Pattie Rohrbaugh, 89, of Mentor, will be at 4 PM on Sunday, January 2, 2022 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Members and friends of Urania Chapter 284 Order of the Eastern Star will conduct services at 4 PM followed by The Rev. Jim Szakacs of Hope Ridge United Methodist Church will officiate at the service.
The family will receive friends from 2-4 PM on Sunday at the funeral home.
The use of masks and social distancing will be enforced at the funeral home.
Mrs. Rohrbaugh passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Hospice House in Cleveland, surrounded by her family.
Born July 18, 1932 in Painesville, she was a lifelong Lake County resident.
She was a member of Hope Ridge United Methodist Church and The Order of the Eastern Star, former Willoughby Chapter 202, now Urania Chapter 284, where she twice served as Worthy Matron. She was also past president of the Hope Chest in Painesville.
Mrs. Rohrbaugh was employed as teacher’s assistant in nine of the elementary school buildings in the Mentor School System.
Survivors are her husband of 70 years, Keith R. Rohrbaugh; daughter, Julie (Robert) Fox; grandchildren, Kristen (Costas) Kontos, Kaitie (Matthew) Fox-Middaugh and Matt Fox; great-grandchildren, Luke, Ethan and Andrew Kontos; siblings, Clara Jean, Barbara, Nancy, Carolyn and Raymond. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edward and Mildred (Horton) Marsch and siblings, Virginia, Edna, Isabell, Sylvia, Hazel, Edward, Andy and Tommy.
Final resting place will be in Mentor Cemetery.
