Patricia Lynne Gallup

With heavy hearts, Patricia Gallup’s family announces her sudden passing from a stroke at Cleveland Clinic on March 17, 2025. She lived a life of enthusiasm as a loving mother, wife, sister, and individual.

Born in Painesville, Ohio, on October 1, 1953, Patricia graduated from Riverside High School in 1971 and graduated from college three times. The last, in mid-life, to become a surgical tech at Cleveland Clinic for many years. Earlier she was a massage therapist, giving comfort to many in need.

Patricia was a life-long activist for animal welfare, environmental, social, and political justice. As a young woman, she worked at Lake Metroparks Farm Park, and was an avid gardener at home. She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Richard Gallup, her loving sons, John and Benjamin Gallup, her siblings, John and Douglas Hyslop, Pamela Brent, and many nieces and nephews.
