Patricia J. Groskopf

Services for Patricia J. (Hayward) Groskopf, 86, of Willoughby, will be at 11 AM on Wednesday, June 30, 2021 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 2-4, 6-8 PM on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Groskopf passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at her home on Friday, June 25, 2021.

Born October 9, 1934 in Willoughby, she was a lifelong Willoughby resident.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She was a member of Eastlake Baptist Church and formerly taught Sunday School at Willoughby Baptist Church and enjoyed bowling, was a master puzzle builder, and never forgot anyone’s birthday.

Mrs. Groskopf ran the latchkey program at Grant Elementary School in Willoughby, retiring after 31 years of service. She also worked as a noon aide at the school, and was known as Gramma to many of the students through the years.

Survivors are her children, Gary (Cindy), Beverly (Keith) Jordan, Kenny (Kim), Ronald (Shannon), Brian, Judy (Tim) Kipp, Stanley (Vicki), Janet McMullen and Joey (fiancé, Ellen). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Michael, Eric, David, Tom (Sabrina), Chris, Mark, Matt, Stephanie, Nikki, Brianna, Gena, Carla, Timmy (Diana), Nick (Ashley), Bradley (Jessica), Katelynn (David), Makayla, Shelby, Jimmy, Trenton, Rhiannon and Frank and great-grandchildren, Katelynn, Kinsley, Adrianna, Issac, Anthony, Autumn, Nolah, Aubrey, Noah, Timmy III, Liam, Zachary, Thea, Wyatt and two on the way. She also leaves her brother, Larry (Dolly) Hayward and many nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Eugene in 2010 and her son, Mark 1965. Her parents, Elmer and Anna Hayward and nine siblings are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Whitehaven Memorial Park in Mayfield Village.
