Patricia "Pat" Carol Hassett

Services for Patricia Carol “Pat” (Moore) Hassett, 95, of Willoughby, formerly of Chester Township, will be at 12 Noon on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 12 Noon on Tuesday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Pat, a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on Friday, December 12, 2025 at her daughter and son-in-law’s Willoughby home, surrounded by her family.

Born February 13, 1930 in Erie, PA, she lived in Chester Township for 38 years, before moving to Willoughby in 2000.

She loved bowling, cake decorating and sewing, and she was an avid golfer who enjoyed time on the course. She was active at her local senior center, where she spent many happy hours playing BINGO and Mahjongg with her friends. She was a member of the Christ Presbyterian Church in Chesterland, where she found faith and community.

Pat will be remembered for her warmth, creativity and grace. Her legacy of love and kindness will live on in all who were fortunate enough to know her.

She supported her family working at the former TRW Corporation and as a secretary at her husband’s business for many years.

Survivors are her children, Mark (Lynda) Hassett, Christine Pauley and Bobbie-Jo (Dave Heinz) Hollingsworth; grandchildren, Brian (Anna) Heinz, Leah (Eric) Sturm, Hannah Hollingsworth and Mackenzie (Kevin) Palum; great-grandchildren, Savannah, Alahna, Jace, Grayson, Caitlyn, Chris, CJ and Jaxson.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Robert M. Hassett on April 6, 2004. Her parents, Matthew H. and Dorothy (Rosenthal) Moore and brother, Herbert Moore are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Township.
