Patricia A. Roniger

A Mass of Christian Burial for Patricia A. [nee: Goga] Roniger, age 88, will be at 11 AM on Saturday, October 5, 2024 at Saint Cyprian Ctholic Church, 4223 Middle Ridge Road, Perry. The Rev. George Kusy will officiate at the Mass.

The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM on Saturday, prior to the Mass, at the Church.

Mrs. Roniger passed during the overnight hours of Saturday, September 28, leaving behind her saddened family.

Pat, as most who knew her called her, was born to William J. and Veronica Goga on a chilly January 19, 1936. She became the oldest of three children when her sister Mary Ellyn (Henry) Wilson and brother William J. (Carrie) Goga Jr. joined her in the Goga household.

After graduating high school, she married Paul Gilbert Roniger August 11, 1956. From that picture-perfect start, the two built the perfect life together, taking on all the world threw at them while raising four fantastic children.

As she excelled at being a mother, Pat worked at Manakiki Golf Course, perfected her soup recipe, and hosted many a Christmas celebration. And over the years, her family’s tree grew deeper roots every time her children and grandchildren added children of their own.

She will be forever missed by her soulmate, Paul Gilbert Roniger, and her children William (Faye) Roniger, Steven (Edria) Roniger, Paul (Pam) Roniger, and Joneen (Gary) Eschenauer. She is also survived by her eight grandchildren and step-grandchildren, Stefani (Jordan) Burgess, Nicolas (Aly Marson) Roniger, Max Roniger, Haley Roniger, Brian (Heather) Stegmayer, Kevin (Brittany) Stegmayer, Mary Eschenauer and Corey Eschenauer, and her 10 great-grandchildren.
