Graveside services for Patricia Foreman Ross, 92, of Willoughby, will be at 11AM Friday, May 11, 2018 at Willoughby Cemetery, 4145 Madison Ave., Willoughby.
Mrs. Ross died May 7, 2018 at her son’s home in Mentor.
Born December 29, 1925 in Somerset, Pennsylvania, she resided in Saxton, Pennsylvania before moving to Willoughby, Ohio where she lived for the past 66 years. She married George W. Ross in 1945.
She worked in the packaging department at Dalton Manufacturing for many years and as a Willoughby-Eastlake City Schools bus driver in the early 1960s. She knitted hats for Lake West Hospital, receiving an award for over 3500 hours volunteered.
She enjoyed playing pinochle with Breckenridge friends and at the Browning Senior Center. She enjoyed harness racing with her husband in their earlier years. She liked to play the slot machines at numerous casinos and enjoyed family gatherings, celebrating numerous birthdays.
Survivors include her sons, George (Darlene) Ross and Thomas (Kathleen) Ross; daughter-in-law, Laura Ross; grandchildren, Kelly (Michael) Sivula, Thomas Ross II, David (Heather) Ross, Karen (Nadya) Ross, Marilyn (Robert) Vitalhic, Brian (Bernadine) Ross, Matthew (Allison) Ross, Marisa Ross, and Aaron (Angela) Ross; 23 great-grandchildren; sister, Martha (George) Livingston. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her husband, George W. Ross in 1998; son, Patrick Ross in 1988. Her parents, George P. and Lola M. (White) Foreman are also deceased.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made in her memory to Willoughby United Methodist Church, Food Pantry, 15 Public Square, Willoughby, OH 44094 or to Ohio Living Home Health and Hospice, 38879 Mentor Ave., Willoughby, OH 44094.
