Memorial services for Patricia L. (Smith) Studer, 77, of Willoughby, will be at 11 AM on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church, 34201 Eddy Road, Willoughby Hills.

Mrs. Studer passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at her home, surrounded by her family.

Born March 17, 1938 in Portsmouth, she had lived in Willoughby Hills for the past 26 years, before moving to Willoughby two years ago.

She was a member of Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church, where she sang in the choir. Her main interests were quilting, traveling, including a visit to all 50 states and participating in the weekly book club at Kirtland Public Library.

Mrs. Studer was a graduate of the Bethesda School of Nursing in Cincinnati. She was a registered nurse and instructor at Cuyahoga Community College in the Emergency Medical Technician department, where she held the positions of instructor, acting department head and clinical coordinator. She retired in 1999 after 26 years of service.

Survivors are her husband of 40 years, Robert L. Studer; children, Lou Ann Brenner of Wickliffe, Lee Michael Karr of Cleveland, Robert M. (Stacey) Studer of Jacksonville, FL and grandchildren, Mitchell Studer of New Orleans, LA and Kali Ann Brenner, Pelahatchie, MS. She also leaves her former husband, Donald Karr of Orange Village.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clede and Margaret (Call) Smith.
