Patrick Timothy Lawlor

Memorial services for Patrick Timothy Lawlor, 58, of Painesville, will be at 5:30 PM on Friday, May 15, 2015 at Saint Paul Lutheran Church, 250 Bowhall Road, Painesville Township, OH 44077. The Rev. Paul Sundbom will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends for fellowship and a meal, from 3-5 PM on Friday, prior to the service, at the Church.

Mr. Lawlor passed away Saturday, May 9, 2015 at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland.

Born December 29, 1956 in Euclid, he was a lifelong Lake County resident.

He was a member of Saint Paul Lutheran Church and a graduate of Riverside High School, Class of 1975, and also attended Southern Illinois University. As a Petty Officer in the United States Navy, he was also a member of the National Association of Submariners. Patrick earned the rank of Eagle Scout and was the founder of Boy Scout Troop 165 in Leroy.

Survivors are his wife of 35 years, Deborah S. (de Wit) Lawlor; son, Alec Lawlor of Gates Mills; mother, Mary Lou Lawlor of Leroy Twp.; siblings, Jim Lawlor (Deanna Corpora) of Willowick, Terry Lawlor of Painesville and Brian (Lori) Lawlor of Leroy Twp. He also leaves his father-in-law, Arie de Wit of Mentor and brothers-in-law, Barry (Cheryl) de Wit and Paul (Sandy) de Wit, both of Painesville, as well as many nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his father, James Francis Lawlor.
