Paul M. Du Rant

Memorial services for Paul M. Du Rant, 91, formerly of Willoughby, will be at 12 Noon on Monday, June 23, 2025 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 10 AM until 12 Noon on Monday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Born July 1, 1931 in Willoughby, he was a longtime Willoughby resident before retiring to The Villages, FL, where he passed away during the pandemic on August 22, 2022.

He was a graduate of the former Willoughby Union High School, class of 1950 and then served in the United States Navy during the Korean Conflict.

Paul enjoyed woodworking, playing golf and liked to snow ski in his earlier years.

He retired from the former TRW Corporation where he worked as a tool and die maker for 30 years, and also drove a bus for Willoughby-Eastlake Public Schools for 30 years.

Survivors are his sons, Paul M. (Adrienne) Du Rant, II and Mark B. (Tami) Du Rant. He also leaves several nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ann (Morrin) Du Rant in 1987. His parents, Forrest and Rhea (Brooks) Du Rant and siblings, Forrest Lee “Jack” (Irene) Du Rant, Jr. and Norrene May (Stewart) Jarvis are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Willoughby Cemetery.
