Paul Denham Ferris

Private family services were held for Paul Denham Ferris, DDS, 93, of Willoughby, who passed away on January 12, 2018.

Dr. Ferris was born on October 15, 1924 in Syracuse, NY and was raised in Cleveland Heights. After serving in the war, he moved to Willoughby with his bride, Barbara Downer Ferris.

He was a U.S. Army World War II Veteran, longtime dentist, avid golfer, animal lover, and world traveler. He enjoyed life to the fullest.

He is survived by his daughters, Elizabeth (Robert) Alesbury, Elaine (Peter) Keefe, and Emily (Mark) Ferris Allegretta; 6 grandchildren, William and Jeffrey Keefe, Andrew and Holly Alesbury, and Adam and Audrey Allegretta. He also leaves behind two nieces and their families.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Barbara Downer Ferris and his parents, Walter M. and Ruth J. Ferris.
