Paul C. Govert

On March 6, 2021 Paul C. Govert, 81, changed his address from Northbrook, Illinois to heaven.

Paul battled congestive heart failure for several years before succumbing to the disease.

He was a Tax Partner with KPMG and was passionate about his profession. He was active member in several accounting societies and strived to be excellent in his field.

Paul was also a member of the Midday Club, Metropolitan Club and President of the Chicago Epilepsy Foundation.

When Paul wasn’t working, he enjoyed long sails on the waters of Lake Michigan. Additionally, he and his wife enjoyed traveling around the world. In later years, Paul took pleasure in the small things of life, such as spending time with his family and friends. He learned quickly that the small things in life are actually the biggest things in life.

Paul is the loving husband of Mary (nee: Young) Govert, devoted father to son, David, and daughter, Susan (Ken) and adoring grandfather to Jack, Laura, and Max.
