Private family services will be held for Pauline V. (Acker) Hamrick, 94, of Willoughby.
Mrs. Hamrick passed away Friday, June 5, 2015 at Lake West Medical Center in Willoughby.
Born November 20, 1920 in Murray City, she has lived in Willoughby for the past 64 years.
She was a member of Willoughby Hills United Methodist Church, Order of the Eastern Star, Willoughby Chapter 202 and American Legion Palmer-Roberts Post 214 Auxiliary in Willoughby.
Mrs. Hamrick was a licensed practical nurse for Drs. Killian and Wells in Willoughby, and then at Erieside Clinic in Willoughby until her retirement.
Survivors are her sons, Charles R. (Karen) Skinner of Willoughby and Timothy A. (Margaret) Skinner of Westerville; grandchildren, Keith (Carol) Rhone, Kathleen (Kevin) Grier, Jeffrey Skinner and David Skinner; great-granddaughters, Amanda and Justine Rhone and sister, Hope Spencer of Logan. She also leaves many nieces and nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Hamrick in 2003. Her parents, Merlin and Mae Acker and siblings, Katherine Butler, Kenneth Acker and Gerald Acker are also deceased.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to Hospice of the Western Reserve, Inc., 17876 St. Clair Avenue, Cleveland, OH 44110-2602.
