Peggy J. Carney

Funeral services for Peggy Jean (Shepard) Carney, 73, of Wickliffe, will be at 3 PM Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.
Family will receive friends 12-3 PM Saturday, prior to services at the funeral home.
Peggy passed away peacefully July 18, 2022 in Wickliffe. Born May 6, 1949 in Cleveland, she lived the majority of her life in Wickliffe.
Peggy was a proud homemaker. After her children were grown, she went to work at Rotor Tool, Snavely Construction and most recently, Andrews Osborne Academy. Peggy loved being with her grandchildren and family and enjoyed walks outside and bowling.
Survivors include her husband of 48 years, Michael A. Carney; children, Carrie (Brian Weiss) Carney, Keith (Julie Pavelecky) Carney, and Christina (Russ) Kostelnik; grandchildren, James Dixon, Macie and Beckett Carney, Caitlynn and Grayson Kostelnik, and Ethan Weiss; sister, Patricia (Glenn) Wallauz; and niece, Samantha Wallauz.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jean and Wanda (Parrish) Shepard and her brother, Paul Shepard.
