Peggy Irene Misorski (Brooks, Patterson) was called to our Lord on November 15, 2021

Born October 6, 1940 to parents Raymond and Ruth Patterson in Greensboro Pennsylvania. She was a 1958 graduate of Mapletown High school. Peggy made her way to Cleveland in 1959 with high school sweetheart and husband Robert J. Brooks Jr. (Deceased) of Masontown Pa.

Together they had 3 children. Bob (Debbie) Brooks of Chesterland, Monica Brooks of Willoughby, and Kevin (Jennifer) Brooks of Willowick. Peggy was also the extremely proud grandparent of grandchildren Bobby (Jessica), Lauren, Kasie, Joshua and Jacob.

Peggy is survived by brother Don, sisters Georgetta, and Ruth (Cookie) and numerous nieces and nephews that she adored.

Preceded in death by her mother Ruth, father Raymond, brothers Ray, Bill, and John, sisters Thelma and June, and husband Edward Misorski.

Her unconditional love of all family and friends were heartfelt and cherished by all.

Peggy’s zest for life was unmatched. Fashion, travel, cooking, dancing, and music (Elvis and Engelbert in particular) provided extraordinary joy for Peggy. She shared this enjoyment with her countless friends, coworkers and family.

Her famous chicken and dumplings and stuffed cabbage dishes are legendary!

Peggy was an avid Cleveland sports fan. She loved to laugh and share stories especially around social events, special occasions, and the holidays. Her meticulous decorating during these times were admired and enjoyed by all. She loved dressing up for a good costume party at Halloween and getting the house ready for everyone to celebrate Christmas.

Peg spent her working career at Precision Metalsmiths in Cleveland as well as Progressive Insurance in Mayfield Hts. Ohio.

Private arrangements are with Davis and Babcock in Willoughby. Peggy’s resting place will be at the Kirtland Cemetery next to her Husband Edward.

Psalm 23 was her favorite; the Lord truly was her shepherd.

A celebration of life and love will take place at a later date.
