Philip Joseph Garbo, 82, passed away on August 23, 2026.

Dear Philip was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Garbo, his parents, John Garbo and Jean (Prior) Garbo, and his sister, Nancy Garbo.

He is survived by brother Jack, children, Philip Garbo, John (Sarah) Garbo, and Teelea (Clifton) Nii; and his grandchildren, Cora Pollard and Nyssa Nii.

The family expresses their deep gratitude to special friend Pat Lewis, who cared for Phil during his last several years.

In lieu of flowers, the family would very much appreciate donations to assist Phil's grandchild, Cora Pollard who is battling stage 3 brain cancer. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 18 at 11:00 AM at Knollwood Mausoleum 1678 SOM Center Rd. Mayfield Heights, OH 44124.

All guests attending are requested to gather at the cemetery office, just inside the entrance, prior to 11 AM and then we will be led to the chapel as a group at 11 AM.
