Memorial services for Phyllis Ann (Bockelman) Pike, 98, of Mayfield Village, will be at 11 AM on Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Garfield Memorial United Methodist Church, 3650 Lander Road, Pepper Pike.
Mrs. Pike passed away Saturday, February 7, 2015 at Governor’s Village Assisted Living in Mayfield Village where she has received wonderful care for the past ten years.
Born May 28, 1916 in East Cleveland, she has lived in Mayfield Village for the past 51 years.
She attended Garfield Memorial United Methodist Church and enjoyed playing the piano and traveling.
Survivors are her son and daughter-in-law, Kenyon and Vivian (nee: Tucker) Pike and grandchildren, Kyndalanne, Nelson and Marta Pike, all of Willoughby; niece, Vickie (nee: Staral) (Steve) Hamlin of Scottsdale, AZ and nephews, Barry Pullman of Middlebury Center, PA; Steve Pullman of Chesapeake, VA and John (Karen) Staral of Woodbury, MN.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Nelson E. Pike, on September 21, 2004. Her parents, Henry and Anna (Yahnke) Bockelman and sister, Vivian Bockelman Pullman are also deceased.
There will be no calling hours. Private family graveside services were held at Knollwood Cemetery in Mayfield Heights.
