Phyllis M. Wischhusen

PHYLLIS MARIE WISCHHUSEN age 93, passed away Thursday January 11, 2018. Beloved wife for 52 years of the late John Wischhusen. Loving mother of Randall J. (Susan) Wischhusen and the late Darall J. Wischhusen. Mother-in- law of Laura Wischhusen. Dear Grandmother of Jennifer (Greg) Golya, Trevor (Erin) Wischhusen, and Lyndsay (Steve) Allen. Loving great-grandmother of seven. Sister of Margerie (Marshall) Mc Elhannon. Phyllis was born May 13, 1924 to Mary (Nemeth) and Charles Ehouse in Painesville, OH. She graduated from Andrews School and worked in the Metallurgical lab at TAPCO where she met her husband, John. John became one of the founding partners of Cleveland Hard Facing, Inc. They bought their first house in Euclid OH, where they were active in the Euclid JayCees. After moving to Pepper Pike, they became active in the Shaker Welcome Wagon and Penn State Bridge Clubs. Phyllis and John were avid Penn Staters and attended many Penn State functions and football games. Phyllis also enjoyed dancing, golf, and entertaining. A private memorial will be held for family members at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in Phyllis's name to Ohio Living Breckenridge Village, 36855 Ridge Rd., Willoughby, OH 44094.
