R. Larry Hayward

Funeral services for R. “Larry” Hayward, 87, of Eastlake, will be at 10 AM on Friday, January 31, 2025 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 5-8 PM on Thursday at the funeral home.

Larry passed away January 25, 2025 in Eastlake.

He was born June 10, 1937 in Willoughby.

He was a proud U.S. Army Veteran who served in South Korea.

Larry owned and operated Hayward Topsoil for many years. He was an excellent bowler and enjoyed playing softball. He also enjoyed being around people and loved to travel.

Survivors include his wife, Marie K. “Dolly” Rhodes. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their families and a special niece and caregiver, Cindy Garbiso.

He was preceded in death by his brothers, James “Casey”, William “Bill”, Robert “Diddle”, Jerry “Biggie”, Elmer “Mike”; sisters, Dorothy, Helen “Hon”, Mary, Patricia “Patsy”, and Margaret “Targie”. His parents, Elmer and Anna (Kamenyar) Hayward Sr. are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Willoughby Memorial Gardens.
