Ralph S. “Bud” Frycklund, Jr.

Memorial services for Ralph S. “Bud” Frycklund, 81, of Eastlake, will be at 5 PM on Saturday, April 18, 2015 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Robert A. Gaston will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM on Saturday, prior to the service.

Bud passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at his home.

Born August 9, 1933 in Hastings, PA, he came to the Cleveland area in the early 1960’s, settling in Eastlake in 1967.

He was a United States Army veteran and enjoyed working with stained glass, riding his bike, bowling, golfing and woodworking. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Bud was employed as a machinist at General Electric Corporation at Nela Park.

Survivors are his daughters, Laura Frycklund of Willoughby and Gail (Chris) Scott of Eastlake; grandchildren, Christopher, Samantha, Kimberly, Jennifer, Jason and Micheal; sister, Barbara (Bill) Kime of Arizona; brothers, Bruce (Gail) Frycklund and Mark (Linda) Frycklund, both of Pennsylvania. He also leaves his sister-in-law, Shirley Frycklund of Pennsylvania and several nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 45 years, Barbara (Hix) Frycklund. His parents, Ralph, Sr. and Olivia (Williams) Frycklund and brother, George Frycklund are also deceased.
