Raymond Alfred Willis

Services for Raymond A. Willis, 102, of Willoughby Hills, will be at 10 AM on Friday, September 7, 2018 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Richard D. Weller will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 2-5 PM on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the funeral home.

Mr. Willis passed away Thursday, August 30, 2018.

Born April 17, 1916 in Geneva, OH, he was a longtime Lake County resident.

He was a World War II United States Army veteran and a member of First Christian Church of Willoughby.

Survivors are his daughter-in-law, Margaret Willis of North Ridgeville and son-in-law, Douglas Hennie of Willoughby Hills; four grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren and five great-great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 76 years, Margery Emma (Ponting) Willis, on December 5, 2017. His son, Frederick Willis and his daughter, Marsha Hennie, are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Whitehaven Memorial Park in Mayfield Village following the service on Friday.
