Richard M. Black

August 28, 1927 — October 15, 2016

A celebration of the life of Richard M. Black, 89, of Willoughby, will be held at 8 PM on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, prior to the celebration.

Mr. Black passed away Saturday, October 15, 2016.

Born August 28, 1927 in Cleveland, he had lived in Willoughby for more than 54 years.

He was a United States Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict. He loved
camping, tennis and scroll sawing.

Survivors are his sons, Gary (Janice) Black and Tim (Elizabeth) Black and granddaughter, Cathy Black.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite in April, 2007. His parents, Andrew and Ruth (Carney) Black and brothers, Don and Wayne Black are also deceased.
