A Lunch and Celebration of Life for Richard A. Fox, 79, of Wickliffe, will be at Redhawk Grille, 7481 Auburn Rd Painesville, OH 44077. Please join us on Saturday, March 1, 2025 from 1:00-4:00 pm in your best Cleveland Indians/Browns gear (or any Ohio team).

Richard passed away peacefully February 25, 2025, in Cleveland, surrounded by his family.

He was born July 5, 1945, in Mt. Vernon, Ohio.

Richard was a teacher and coach at Celina High School. Following, he was in apartment maintenance in Wynnewood, Oklahoma.

Richard was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan, and he loved collecting sports memorabilia and sending out for autographs. He enjoyed flower gardening and his cat, Mr. Boone. Richard was known for his storytelling, his ability to make everyone laugh, and his many trips to Melmac to visit his friend Alf.

Survivors include his children, Richard (Tracy) Fox, Jr., Randy Fox, and Becky Carroll; 13 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and his brother, Stephen (Darlene) Fox. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews and their families.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Reva Fox and his children, Travis Fox, Bobby Fox, Cindy (Lonnie) Stout, and Johnny Eaton. His parents, Robert and Evelyn (Long) Fox are also deceased.

His presence will be deeply missed, but his legacy of love, laughter, and passion for life will live on in the hearts of all who knew him.

Family suggests contributions be made to a charity of your choice in lieu of flowers.
