Richard M. Grubaugh

A Mass of Christian Burial for Richard M. Grubaugh, 63, of Madison Township, will be at 1 PM on Friday, May 7, 2021 at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, 32114 Vine Street, Willowick. The Rev. Steven H. Breck will officiate at the Mass.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The use of a mask is required and social distancing is encouraged during all publicly attended events.

Mr. Grubaugh passed away Friday, April 30, 2021 at West Medical Center in Willoughby.

Born November 23, 1957 in Cleveland and raised in Willowick, he has lived in Madison Township for the past 16 years.

Mr. Grubaugh was employed as a social worker and spent much of his time taking care of other people. He enjoyed Cleveland sports teams and worked part time at WKKY.

Survivors are his mother, Madeline (Orlando) Grubaugh; sister, Susan Roniger and brothers, David and Thomas (Melissa) Grubaugh; nieces and nephews, Ariana and Eric Grubaugh; Colleen Roniger; Justin (Kyla) Beecham and Ashley Grubaugh and great-nephew, Norman Beecham. He also leaves his longtime companion, Phyllis Duruttya and her family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Richard A. Grubaugh.

Final resting place will in All Souls Cemetery, Chardon Township.
