Richard L. Mook

Services for Richard L. Mook, 79, of Mentor, will be at 4 PM on Sunday, October 31, 2021 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

The family will receive friends from 1-4 PM on Sunday, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. Mook passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021at Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights.

Born November 6, 1941 in Cambridge Springs, PA, he has lived in Mentor for more than 50 years.

He was faithful Christian and a member of Willoughby Hills Friends Church. He wrote a book, entitled ”From Grief to Glory” and enjoyed traveling to promote his book. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles with his brother-in-law.

Mr. Mook was employed by the Lincoln Electric Company in Euclid, retiring in 2007.

Survivors are his sister, Alice (Lloyd) Eskins and many nieces and nephews and their families. He also leaves his longtime companion, Nancy.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Judy; his son, Richard and infant daughter, Deborah. His parents, Dorrance Edward and Anna Mae (Shellito) Mook and brothers, Dorrance and Eugene Mook are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in East Springfield Cemetery in East Springfield, Pennsylvania.
