Richard A. Mozek

Richard A. Mozek Sr., 83, of Eastlake, passed away September 9, 2023 at his home. He was born September 29, 1939 in Cleveland.

Richard loved and was very proud of his family. He loved spending time with them, especially at cookouts and holidays. He also loved gardening, reading, and word puzzles. Richard was an active member in his church. He was a very intelligent and creative man. He loved telling stories, recollecting and building things, especially with cement and cinder blocks.

Survivors include his children, Michael Mozek, Richard Jr (Holly Piazza) Mozek, and Joseph (Dori) Mozek; grandchildren, Balin Mozek, Ian (Hailey Lindell) Mozek, Luke (Makayla Lanham) Mozek , Benjamin Mozek, and Olivianna (Jacob Salley) Mozek; great grandchildren, Riley and Milo Mozek.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Ann Mozek and second wife, Virginia Mozek. His parents, Andrew and Marie Mozek; brother, Ronald Mozek; and daughter-in-law, Connie Mozek.

A private family memorial will be held on Tuesday, September 26.
