Richard W. Rini

Services for Richard W. Rini, 70, of Mentor, will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Mr. Rini passed away Friday, October 24, 2014, surrounded by his family at his home.

Born November 15, 1943 in Cleveland, he has lived in Mentor for the past 47 of years.

He was a member of Mentor United Methodist Church and Habitat for Humanity in Lake County and loved to garden.

Mr. Rini was employed in the tool crib and as a machine operator at the former TRW/Tech Corporation, retiring in 2006 after 35 years of service. He also worked for the Laborers Union, Local 310 for 15 years.

Survivors are his wife of 50 years, Bonnie M. (Maher) Rini; sons, Thomas (Kathy) Rini of Willowick, Douglas (Lora) Rini of Lewis Center and James (Cynthia) Rini of Madison grandchildren, Alexandra, Reid, Dane, Ryan, Amanda, Jessica, Jimmy and Jake; brother, Ray Rini of Wickliffe and nephews, Austin and Nicholas. He also leaves his brother-in-law, Charlie Zaffiro and his son, Carlo.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Marie Rini and sister, Rosemarie Zaffiro and brother, Robert A. Rini.

The family will receive friends from 2-4, 6-8 PM on Monday, October 27, 2014 at the funeral home. The Rev. Beverly L. Wrobel of Mentor United Methodist Church will officiate at the service. Final resting place will be in Crown Hill Cemetery in Twinsburg.
