Robert King Baker (Bob), age 75, died in his home in Willoughby Hills, Ohio on December 25, 2021.
Robert was a long-time resident of Berrien County, Michigan. Bob served his country in the United Sates Army having fought in the Vietnam War. Bob was retired from Wolverine Pipeline having worked there for over thirty-years.
He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather.
Bob leaves behind his wife of nearly 52 years, Billie Jo Baker. He is survived by his sister, Martha Baker, and her family. He is survived by his daughter, Bobbie Jo, and her husband, Greg, and his granddaughter Megan. He is also survived by his son Joseph, his wife Sharon and his two grandsons Nolan and Cooper. Bob is also survived by his five granddaughters Courtney (Payten Alford), Hannah, Abigail, Katelyn, and Baylie. Bob is also survived by one great-granddaughter, Paisley Jean. He is predeceased by his son, Robert Fredrick Baker.
Private funeral services will be held at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby, Ohio on Tuesday, December 28, 2021. A military burial will occur in a private family service at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
