Robert M. Bullen

Memorial services for Robert M. Bullen, 80, of Eastlake, will be at 2 PM on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. The Rev. Michael J. Currier of the Body of Christ Community Church will officiate at service.

Mr. Bullen passed away Thursday, September 17, 2015 at Governor’s Village in Mayfield Village.

Born May 11, 1935 in Everett, MA, he has lived in Northeast Ohio for the past 70 years.

He was a United States Navy veteran, serving aboard USS New Jersey. He was formerly an active member of the Willoughby South High School Boosters and was involved in the Indian Guides/Princesses at the West End YMCA in Willoughby.

Mr. Bullen was employed as an offset printer at the former Lezius-Hiles Company in Cleveland and then at Avery Dennison Company in Painesville. He retired in 1999.

Survivors are his daughters, Jacqueline (T.J.) Lewis of Port Orange FL and Jennifer Bullen of Shaker Heights; step-sons, David (Joan) Tomlinson of Washington, DC and Matthew (Alaine) Tomlinson of Ottawa, Ontario; grandchildren, Edward, Emma, Eva and Max and sister, Joan (Roger) Panek of Maine.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Chester and Helen (Canney) Bullen and grandson, Nicholas Kelo, Jr.

The family will receive friends from 1-2 PM on Saturday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
