Robert B. Corbett

Robert Bryson Corbett was born to Francille (DuPey) Corbett and Joseph Cameron Corbett on August 26, 1936 in Cleveland, Ohio. He entered into the care of our Lord on January 24, 2022.

Bob was preceded in death by his mother, Francille and father Joseph, and is survived by his sister Carol Sue West; sons, Rob and Chris, and grandchildren Soren and Ilsa.

Bob attended Kaiserslautern High School in Germany and graduated from Willoughby Union High School and resided in Willoughby until moving to Florida in 2020.

On September 6, 1958, Bob married B. Romayne Kimmel. The couple had two children, Robert Cameron Corbett and Christopher Bryson Corbett, born exactly three years apart.

Bob was a field inspector for the home office of Metropolitan Life Insurance for 38 years. Bob was a dedicated member and past master of Willoughby Masonic Lodge 302 in Willoughby. Possessed of a passion for travel, the outdoors and fly fishing in particular, Bob and Romayne traveled to all 50 states and all the Canadian provinces except Newfoundland via Airstream trailer. They also enjoyed many trips abroad to over 28 countries.
