Robert L. Harnden

ROBERT L. Harnden, Jr., 84, of Willoughby. Beloved husband for 54 years of Connie Padgett Harnden, passed Thursday, June 20, 2013. Bob was born in Fremont on September 11, 1928 to Robert, Sr. and Leota Little Harnden. He is survived by his wife Connie, daughters, Sarah (Michael) Knouse and Susan (Chris) Young, and four grandsons, Kenneth, Stephen, Ethan and Ryan. Bob was a veteran of the Korean Conflict, serving as a 1st Lt. with the Air Force in Japan. He spent more than 30 years with Brush Wellman in Cleveland. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM, Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the Mentor United Methodist Church, 8600 Mentor Ave., Mentor. In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions to the Breckenridge Village Life Care Fund, in Bob’s memory, 36859 Ridge Rd., Willoughby 44094.
