Robert E. Moss

Memorial services for Robert E. Moss, 80, of Willoughby, Ohio, will be at 10 AM on Thursday, May 1, 2025 at The Osborne Community Plaza at Ohio Living Breckenridge Village Campus, 36851 Ridge Road, Willoughby.

Mr. Moss passed away Sunday, April 20, 2025.

Born February 17, 1945 in Freeport, IL, he graduated from Freeport High School, class of 1963 and attended Illinois Wesleyan College from 1963-1967, earning his Bachelor’s degree, and then attended Illinois State University from 1967 until mid-1968, working towards a Master’s degree when he was drafted into the Army.

He was a United States Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam era from 1968-1970.

Mr. Moss started his career at Baxter Laboratory in Minneapolis, MN and after relocating to Ohio, began a career at Steris Corporation in Mentor, Ohio for 20 years, retiring as President in 2017.

Survivors are his wife of 53 years, Patricia (Worrall) Moss; siblings, Janet (John) Whiton and Jim (Norma) Moss and daughter-in-law, Pamela Jergens and her children. He also leaves two nieces and one nephew and their families.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Elmer and Vivian (Fehr) Moss; and Pat's children, Marie and Mark Metzer.
