Robert A. Pavli

Robert “Bob” Pavli, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, passed away peacefully at David Simpson Hospice House on October 18, 2024. He was born on August 13, 1950.

Bob is survived by his devoted spouse of fifty two years, Mary Ann (Cordiano)Pavli, and their three cherished children; Dawn Hridayashri Pavli (Prasadachitta Branbury), Sharon (Mike) Riccardi, and Tony (Danielle) Pavli.

He was a proud grandfather to six grandchildren; Kelsey Kron, Anthony Pavli, Riley Riccardi, Aiden Pavli, Charlotte Riccardi, and Asher Pavli. Robert is also survived by his siblings; Marie (Joe) Jagodnik, Carolyn Jones, Virginia Moore, and James (Cindy) Pavli. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Anthony and Margaret Pavli.

Bob graduated from St. Joseph’s High School in Cleveland and Cleveland State University. For 43 years, he dedicated his career to ArcelorMittal Steel in Cleveland (formerly LTV), where he was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to the people he led.

In his personal time, Bob found gratification in helping others, a characteristic he learned as a young man growing up in the Catholic church and as an Eagle Scout. He was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus for many years and was involved in the St. Gabriel’s church community. He played a vital role in the formative years of the church, helping to organize the construction of their new building and the conversion of the former church into a gymnasium for the school.

He enjoyed organizing many golf outings for his brethren at Knights of Columbus, which embodied Bob’s reputation as a charitable and giving man. When he wasn’t giving back to his community, he could be found helping out various family members with home improvement projects or on the golf course.

Bob’s legacy of love for his family, service, and community will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The family will receive friends 4-7 PM Friday, November 15, 2024 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave, Willoughby, OH 44094.

Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 AM Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Saint Gabriel Catholic Church 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Rd, Concord Twp., OH 44060.

He will be greatly missed but will live on in the hearts of those he touched.
