Robert E. St. John

Private family services for Robert E. St. John, 83, of Kirtland, will be at held at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Mr. St. John passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Mentor-Way Care Center.
Born May 28, 1930 in Minneapolis, MN he was a longtime Willowick resident before moving to Kirtland ten years ago.

He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather to all of his family members.

Mr. St. John was an active member of the Sheet Metal Workers Local 33 for more than 50 years.

Survivors are his son, Robert J. (Paula) St. John of Mentor; grandchildren, Bonnie (Dirk) Hayhurst of Hudson; Captain Peter (Tiffany) St. John (U.S. Army) of Dothan, AL; J.R. St. John and Kimberly St. John, both of Concord Township and brother in law, Ben Niro of Sagamore Hills.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Connie L. St. John on March 19, 2014; son, James T. St. John on May 1, 2011. His parents, Thomas and Juanita (Holder) St. John and sisters, Marjorie Niro and Joanne Moss are also deceased.

There will be no calling hours. The Rev. Robert A. Gaston will officiate at the service. Final resting place will be in Whitehaven Memorial Park, Mayfield Village.
