A celebration of Life for Roger A. Robinson, 89, of Mentor, will be held at 1 PM, on Friday, April 30, 2021 at Wildwood Cultural Center, 7645 Little Mountain Road, Mentor.
The family will receive friends from 12-1 PM on Friday, April 30, 2021, prior to the service.
Roger passed away peacefully on Monday, April 5, 2021 at his home.
Born May 10, 1931 in Grindstone, PA, he was raised in Fairmont, WV, prior to moving to Mentor.
He was a proud U.S. Air Force Veteran, serving in the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Robinson graduated from Fairmont State College and received his Bachelor of Fine Arts. He attended graduate school at Ohio University in Athens. He loved teaching and directing plays at Willoughby South High School, where he taught for 25 years.
Roger was an accomplished gardener and designed his gardens as if they were a stage set.
Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Janice A. (Williams) Robinson and cousin, Moselle (Michael) DiCenso.
He also leaves behind many cousins and their families.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rogers A. and Clara A. (McMahon) Robinson and his son, Roger Robinson.
