Ronald E. Guerrieri, AKA, "Mr.G.", 72, of Concord Twp., Ohio, passed away on Friday, November 2, 2012 – All Souls Day. He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years, Carole (Karlovec) Guerrieri, adoring children, sons, Jamie (Mai) Guerrieri, Joshua Guerrieri, Jeremy Guerrieri, daughters, Jessica Guerrieri and son-in-law Danal Harvey, Jenna Guerrieri and significant other, Matthew Janis; grandchildren Fury Guerrieri, Taylor Guerrieri and Nicholas Guerrieri, his dear brother Roy (Linda) Guerrieri; nephews, Christopher Guerrieri, Nicholas Guerrieri and Matthew Guerrieri, along with many close friends and neighbors and his "best friend", his dog Freedom. He was preceded in death by his cherished parents, Guerino "Orly" and Mary (Armeni) Guerrieri. Ron was an incredibly loving, patient and loyal husband and father, a retired graphic designer, veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and alumnus of Youngstown State University. Ron was a lover of the outdoors and fishing, a beautifully gifted concert pianist, painter and poet, a talented cook and passionate gardener and had an infectious love of laughter. With love and patience, he passed these gifts on to his children and grandchildren. Everyone who was blessed to know Ron was touched by his kindness, his light-hearted humor and pranks and his love of life. His memory will be cherished in the hearts of his family forever. Calling hours for Ron will be held at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby, on Monday, November 5, 2012 from 4-8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Saint Gabriel Catholic Church, 9925 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Concord Township, on Tuesday, November 6th, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. followed by graveside burial at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.
