Ronald Mc Neil

Private family services have been held for Ronald Kenneth McNeil, 91, of South Euclid.

Born November 13, 1930 in Johnstown, PA he has lived in Northeast Ohio for more than 85 years.

Mr. McNeil passed away Saturday, July 2, 2022 at Grande Pavilion Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Oakwood Village.

He was a United States Navy veteran serving from 1948-1952. He also enjoyed woodworking and playing billiards.

He was an electrical engineer with Ohio Bell Telephone Company, retiring after 30 years of service.

Survivors are his children, Jeff (Cami) McNeil, Kim McNeil, Kelly (David) Basoco, Kevin (Georgianne) McNeil, Keith McNeil; grandchildren, Brandon McNeil, Natasia (Brian) Freeman, Dr. Shawn Levstek, Shannon (Will) Cole, Dainan McNeil, Jeff Alvidrez, Joshua McNeil, Amanda Garcia, James McNeil and Gemma (Rico) McNeil; great-grandchildren, Reed, Angeleigh and Aidyn. He also leaves his grand dog, Chewy.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Carol (Wachtell) McNeil in 2004. His parents, William and Helen (Clinton) McNeil; brother, Robert and sisters, Eleanor and Martha are also deceased.
