Memorial services for Ronnie Lee Mason, 79, of Willoughby, will be at 5 PM on Friday, December 16, 2016 at Prince of Peace Church, 7193 Reynolds Road, Mentor.

The famiy will receive friends from 4-5 PM on Friday, prior to the service.

Mr. Mason passed away suddenly on December 7th, surrounded by his loving family.

Born July 2, 1937 in Cleveland, he was a lifetime Lake County resident.

Mr. Mason retired from custodial work at Browning Center in Willoughby, but remained active as a member for many years and was a member of the Willoughby Senior Center band. He was well known by many as "Mr. Banjo".

Mr. Mason is survived by his two sons, Darrell (Bonnie) Mason of Eastlake, and Duane (Karen) Mason of Willowick, along with many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and niece and nephew. He also leaves his companion and best friend, Mildred Davis.

He was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Patricia Jean Mason, his parents and a brother.

Private family interment will be held at a later date.

Arrangements entrusted to Davis-Babcock funeral Home, Willoughby.
