Rosemary Brainard

Graveside services for Rosemary (nee: Painter) (Jarrett) Brainard, 86, of Mentor, will be 11 AM on Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Mentor Cemetery, 6881 Hopkins Road, Mentor.

Mrs. Brainard passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2013, after a brief illness.

Born April 6, 1926 in Chester Township, she has lived in Mentor for more than 60 years.

She was a member of Painesville Assembly of God.

Survivors are her husband of 11 years, Donald L. Brainard; children, Don Jarrett and Joel Jarrett, both of Painesville and Juliann (John) Gallagher of Farmington Hills, MI and step-daughters, Linda (Rick) Evans of Erie, PA and Sharon (John) Soboleski of McKean, PA and their families. She also leaves her sister-in-law, Pearl and beloved beagle, Miss Ginger.

She was preceded in death by her first husband, Joseph L. Jarrett on March 13, 1996. Her parents, Virgil and Martha (Ferry) Painter and siblings, Gail, Guy, Wade, Ethel and Frances are also deceased.

There will be no calling hours or services at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages contributions in her memory to a favorite charity.
