Rosveig Warner

Rosveig (Bia) Warner, 103, daughter of Iceland, as a hospital nurse

met and married U.S. Army MSgt Jay Warner in World War II.

Mother of Betty Thompson (Tom Hult), Diane (Tom Stumpf), and

Barbara (David Thomas). Grandmother of David Patrick,

Michelle Murphy, Darcy Gaines, Kirsten Fitzgerald, Margaret Tussey,

Erika Butt, Rachel Delesk and Brittany Thomas. Great-Grandmother of 22, and

Great-Great-Grandmother of 12.

She became a loyal citizen of the United States, but never lost

her fierce independence born of the land of fire and ice.

Visitation will be held 1-4 PM Saturday, May 27, 2023 Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. To let her memory live on, please plant a tree
