Sharon Ann Cornell

Services for Sharon Ann (Grinstead) Cornell, 69, of Painesville, will be at 2 PM on Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby. Elder Steven E. Davidson of Kirtland Community of Christ will officiate at the service.

The family will receive friends from 12 Noon until 2 PM on Tuesday, prior to the service.

Mrs. Cornell passed away Friday, June 19, 2015 at her home.

Born February 21, 1946 in Cleveland, she was a lifetime Lake County resident.

She was a member of Kirtland Community of Christ and an avid nature lover. She also enjoyed floral design and rescuing stray kitties in the neighborhood.

Survivors are her husband of 43 years, Arthur G. Cornell and siblings, Robert Grinstead, Laura Huggins and Michael Grinstead. She also leaves several nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Carmen (Shepard) Grinstead.

Final resting place will be in South Kirtland Cemetery following the service on Tuesday.
