Services for Sharon R. (Sohl) McLaughlin, 80, of Willoughby, will be at 2 PM on Thursday, November 5, 2020
at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.
The family will receive friends from 12:30 – 2 PM on Thursday, prior to the service.

Social distancing guidelines and occupancy limits will be enforced and masks are required when visiting the funeral home.

Our loving mother, grandmother and sister passed away Sunday, November 1, 2020.

Born August 28, 1940 in Sturgis, SD, she lived in Willoughby for more than 50 years.

She attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and loved gardening, growing flowers and spending time with her family. She was a die-hard Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Mrs. McLaughlin was employed as a nurse at the former Mentor-Way Nursing Home in Mentor and also worked at Fluid Controls in Mentor.

Survivors are her children, Denise (James) Kahler, Barbara (Todd Carson) Snyder-Carson, John (Dawn) McLaughlin, Sharon McLaughlin, Jr. and Richard (Doreen) McLaughlin; grandchildren, Charles and Shannon Foster, Robert (Erin) Snyder, Melissa (David) Wilson, Shawn (fiancé, Renata) Snyder, Dustin (Jenna) McLaughlin, Michael and Crystal Allen, Dylan McLaughlin, Richard (fiancé, Kyle) McLaughlin, Amanda and Hayley McLaughlin; great-grandchildren, Tessa, Ellania, Seth, Blake, Jasmine, Lilly, Addy, Avery, Kinsley, Luke, D.J. and Cooper and great-great grandson, Oliver. She also leaves her brother, Christopher Sohl and many step-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard McLaughlin in 1995. Her parents, Earl and Irene (Congdon) Sohl and brothers, Douglas and Robert Sohl are also deceased.

Final resting place will be in Whitehaven Memorial Park, Mayfield Village.
