Funeral services for Shirley A. (Young) Moore Tibbs, 84, of Eastlake, will be at 1 PM Friday, February 3, 2023 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.
Family will receive friends at 11 AM- 1 PM Friday, prior to the service at the funeral home.
Shirley passed away January 30, 2023 at her home. She was born April 27, 1938 in Bolair, West Virginia.
Shirley enjoyed coin collecting and was very active at Willoughby Baptist Church. She loved singing and playing the guitar. Later on in life, she even took piano lessons. But most of all, she loved her home in West Virginia and her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Al Tibbs of 29 years; children, Pam (Allen) Hotz, D. Lynne Moore, Tommie (John) Spikes, June (Tony) Culotta, Gary (Sandy) Stumpf, and Jim Stumpf; daughter-in-law, Sharon Tibbs; grandchildren, Becky (Matt) Bollas, Erin (Jonathan) Stubblefield, Meredith (Colin) Johnson, Cassidy Spikes, Joe Evans, Kelley (Miguel) Mancha, Glenn (Christi) O’Brien, T.J. O’Brien, Andrea (Eric) Milner, Steve (Christine) Stumpf, and Jonathan Stumpf; great-grandchildren, Hunter and Violet and many others; siblings, Patsy (Don) Rice, Nancy Williams, Mark (Shirley) Young, Alida (Marty) Cowger, and John Young. She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews and their families.
She was preceded in death by her first husband, Thomas F. Moore and her step-son, Alfred Tibbs Jr. Her siblings, George Young, Velton Young, Edra Green, Genelda Young, Jeff Young, David Young are deceased.
Final resting place will be in Western Reserve Memorial Gardens, Chester Twp.
