Steven G. Knippenberg

Memorial services to celebrate the life of Steven G. Knippenberg, 41, of Mentor, were held on March 30, 2013.

Steven passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013.

Born July 12, 1971 in Akron, he lived in Mentor for the past 3 years.

He was an accomplished tattoo artist and loved to airbrush and draw.

Steve was employed as a robot operator and welder at Winter Equipment Company in Willoughby.

Survivors are his brother, Richard Knippenberg (Janet) of Rittman; niece, Anna and nephew, Richard James “R.J.” He also leaves his longtime companion, Joyce Fretto and her daughter, Amanda Burry (Bryan Geary).

His parents, Henry and Linda (Wright) Knippenberg are deceased.

Arrangements were entrusted to Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, Willoughby.
