Susan G. Davies

Services for Susan G. Davies, 63, of Kirtland, will be at 6 PM on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Avenue, Willoughby.

Mrs. Davies passed away Friday, June 28, 2013 at Hospice of the Western Reserve, in Cleveland.

Born April 27, 1950 in Cleveland, she had lived in Kirtland for more than 34 years. She and her husband, Bill, also lived in TX for part of each year at their “Davies Ranchette” or as she referred to it, her ‘Happy House”.

Susan was the former Executive Director of the Northern Ohio PGA for fifteen years. She attended Lakeland Community College in the 70’s. She went on 28 cruises including Iceland and Peru, loved traveling, liked touring wineries and enjoyed crocheting.

Survivors are her husband of 34 years, William R. Davies, children, Jewel Davies of Chicago and Ron (Stephanie) Petti of Nacogdoches, TX, her granddaughter Megan and brother, Dennis (Linda Abel) Aingworth, of New Port Richey, FL.

Susan was preceded in death by her parents Thomas and Ruth Aingworth and daughter, Crystal Davies.

The family will receive friends from 4 PM until the time of services at 6 PM Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at the funeral home. A public burial will be held the following day at Kirtland North Cemetery next to the Kirtland Temple at 10 AM. A celebration of Susan’s life will be held directly following the internment from 11 AM - 4 PM at Just One More Tavern 9378 Chillicothe Rd, Kirtland Ohio.
