Thaddeus M. Braun

Thaddeus M. Braun (age 71) of Willowick, passed away on May 7, 2026. He was born May 4, 1955, in Cleveland and grew up in Chesterland.

Survivors are his wife, Lynn (Sedgley) Braun; sister, Laurine Braun; brother-in-law, Charles Warren Sedgley; various cousins including Linda (Hill) Maddalena of Raleigh, NC, and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Fay Braun.

Thad had a lifelong interest in consumer electronics and in music. While in his 20s, he also enjoyed auto-crossing. He was skilled at electronics repairs and computer hardware/software troubleshooting. And he was always in search of the perfect cup of coffee.

He will be greatly missed by his family and his many friends in and out of the area.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 3rd, 2026 at Shoregate United Methodist Church, 30500 Bayridge Blvd. in Willowick. Friends are invited to visit with the family prior to the service at the church, from 10 to 11 a.m.
