Theodore R. Kurth

Theodore R. “Ted” Kurth, Jr., 64, passed away peacefully at home, on Monday, December 28, 2015. He was a longtime resident of Mentor, Ohio. Mr. Kurth was a chef that worked in many restaurants throughout the country and most recently enjoyed helping friends and family through his catering service. He also worked as a baker at Giant Eagle for 12 years. He leaves behind his sister, Kathleen (Kurth) Covell; nephew, Jamey R. (Jamie Lynn) Covell; great-nephew Parker and great-nieces Mackinley, and Taylor Covell. He was preceded in death by his parents, Theodore R. “Ted” Kurth on August 31, 2015 and Beverly (Gordon) Kurth on April 20, 2015 and his nephew, Regan Robert Covell on December 27, 2011. As per Ted’s wishes, there will be no calling hours or funeral service. A ceremony for his family will be at the gravesite.
