Mr. Fish passed away June 29, 2016 in Wickliffe.
He was born October 31, 1941 in Cleveland.
As a young man, Tom was a machinist at Eaton Corp. Axle Division. He went on to be an entrepreneur and enjoyed an early retirement. He was a 1960 graduate of Shaw High School. He enjoyed golf, playing cards, bowling, swimming, listening to music, traveling and telling entertaining stories.
His greatest joy was being with family, and spoiling his nine grandchildren. Known as Papa: The Man, The Myth and The Legend - Tom was capable and generous and could fix anything with a set of tools or a life lesson. A favorite annual excursion was "The Hot Dog Trip" to Pennsylvania - which highlighted his childhood memories and created new adventures and stories each year.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 55 years, Carol R. (nee: Randolph); precious children, Thomas E. (Elizabeth) Fish and Karla J. (William) Lindsey, and son-in-law, Timothy J. Luciani; adored grandchildren, Cullin, Caitlin, Connor, Morgan, Nina, Carly, Jensen, William, and Mitchell; and brother, Robert H. (Janet) Fish. He is also survived by his brother-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Brenda J. Luciani; his sister, Charlotte M. Collister; and his parents, Robert H. and Martha E. Fish.
In lieu of flowers, as appreciation for the compassionate care provided, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve, 17876 St. Clair Ave., Cleveland, OH 44110.
