Thomas Arthur Polley

Thomas A. Polley was born July 31, 1955 and entered Eternal Life with his Savior on April 3, 2022, after a courageous battle with cancer. Tom was born and raised in New London, WI and relocated to Cleveland and considered Cleveland his home. Tom married the love of his life, Carol Seiter on October 11, 1997. Tom worked in outside sales for most of his life. He was a Sales Manager at Bosworth Industrial Supply for over 20 years. Tom and his wife enjoyed cruises and traveling to the Caribbean and Europe. Tom also enjoyed riding his motorcycle and earned an Iron Butt award for riding 1,000 miles in less than 24 hours. Tom enjoyed playing sheepshead whenever he had a chance. He was a loving and devoted husband who was always concerned with providing Carol with the best life possible. He was also a cherished and beloved son, brother, uncle, cousin, and friend. Tom was a member of The Little Church in the Vale in Gates Mills and served as an Elder and the Treasurer for many years. He also volunteered at local blood drives for the American Red Cross.
Tom is survived by his wife, Carol; mother, Joan; sisters, Susan (Steve) Carlovsky and Jane Polley; brothers, Robert (Lori) Polley and William (Tammy) Polley; brother-in-law, Robert Seiter; 8 nieces and nephews, Kristen, Courtney and Karyn Carlovsky, Michael (Christie) Polley, Amy (Mike) Keesler, Abby (Bob) Weix, and Zachariah and Madison Polley.
He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Polley and his in-laws, Robert and Lois Seiter.
Funeral services will be at 10 AM Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby.
Family will receive friends 4-8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
Final resting place will be in Knollwood Cemetery, Mayfield Heights.
